The Geissele Premium Mil-Spec Buffer Tube (H1) is ideal for rifle or mid-length gas systems with an 18" or longer barrel, or carbine/mid-length gas systems with a 14.5" to 16" barrel. It's machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish in Geissele's DDC.

This carbine-length, Mil-Spec diameter buffer tube is a perfect fit for an AR-15 lower and ensures compatibility with most Mil-Spec diameter stocks. The Super 42 spring's three independent wire strands absorb and displace excess energy, decreasing the chance of spring failure, and the 15 percent stronger return force assists in stripping rounds from the magazine when running a dirty weapon or steel-case ammo.
