The Geissele Automatics Airborne Charging Handle is machined from a solid block of 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and built for confident ambidextrous operation, with low-profile levers that reduce snagging on gear and a raised rear lip that helps mitigate gas blowback on short-barrel or suppressed setups. Built for AR-15 platforms, this AR-15 charging handle combines dual-contoured levers, a checkered grip surface, and a Type III hardcoat anodized finish.
The Geissele Automatics Airborne is an ambidextrous AR-15 charging handle machined from a solid block of 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, featuring dual-contoured levers with a checkered surface, a raised rear lip for gas blowback mitigation, low-profile levers, and a Type III hardcoat anodized finish.
Dual-contoured levers provide positive engagement along both axes for reliable ambidextrous operation from either side of the rifle. The checkered handling surface gives extra grip when wearing gloves, where a smooth surface would reduce positive purchase. Low-profile levers reduce the chance of snagging on gear during dynamic use, making the Airborne practical for shooters working in kit or tight spaces. The raised rear lip helps divert gas away from the shooter on short-barrel or suppressed setups where increased back-pressure drives more gas rearward.
Compatible with standard AR-15 upper receivers.

Great quality

Rigid and well worth the money. The charging handle doesn't stick out far so it stays clear from snagging on clothing and gear.

Absolute top notch quality charging handle. Comparable to a standard Radian Raptor, but a little lower profile. It does charging handle things well. Super fast shipping from Primary Arms as always.

Yeah, it's kinda, sorta, a "Gucci" charging handle but... that being said it is REALLY NICE. You can actually feel the quality when you take it out of the packaging. It's a keeper!
Solid charging handle

Thisthis is an excellent charging handle. Feels solid and pulls back nicely. What I like the most about the ACH is that there really isn't anything too big or crazy hanging out its sides. A little expensive, but around the same price as other manufacturers that have a similar design. Can't go wrong with geissele too.
