Geissele Automatics Super Duty MOD1 5.56 NATO AR-15 Rifle - 13.9" Pinned - DDC

The Geissele Automatics Super Duty MOD1 AR-15 rifle, chambered in 5.56 NATO, is designed for performance and durability. This rifle represents an evolution of the Super Duty platform, with a focus on refined ergonomics and modularity. It features a 13.9-inch cold hammer forged barrel with a pinned and welded HUXWRX QD 556 Flash Hider, achieving a legal 16-inch overall length. It also has a Nanoweapon-coated Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. Both the barrel and bolt are High-Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI). The gas system is designed for balanced operation, featuring a Super Compact Gas Block, optimized gas port, and a Super 42 braided buffer spring to manage recoil and cycling. The Nanocoated HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device is compatible with HUXWRX FLOW series suppressors.

The rifle includes an SSA-E X two-stage trigger with a wide-body Lightning Bow shape and Nanocoated components. Controls consist of an ambidextrous Super Configurable Safety, Airborne Charging Handle, checkered magazine release, and Maritime Bolt Catch.

The MOD1 utilizes a center-tab mated 12.9-inch SMR MK16 handguard, a B5 Enhanced SOPMOD stock, and a Geissele A17 grip. Modularity is enhanced with a Geissele Quick Disconnect (QD) Sling Mount Endplate and stainless steel QD inserts on the handguard. This configuration aims to provide a platform suited for tactical and defensive applications.
