Details
The Geissele Automatics URG-I Airborne AR-15 Charging Handle (ACH) is a fully ambidextrous, dual-levered, gas-busting charging handle developed at the request of an elite military unit known for its expertise in aerial insertions.
Features:
- Ambidextrous, dual-levered design
- Machined from a solid block of 7075-T6 aluminum
- Dual-contoured, checkered lever surface for gloved use
- Shortened levers reduce snag points and work well with low-profile optics
- Raised rear lip redirects gas from suppressed or short-barreled rifles
- Desert Dirt Color (DDC) hardcoat anodized finish
- Minimal laser engraving with NSN number
The URG-I Airborne Charging Handle carries the same features and quality as the standard Airborne model, with minimal laser engraving that displays only "Geissele Automatics" and the ACH's NSN number. Geissele's Desert Dirt Color (DDC) finish covers a range of desert terrain shades meant to help break up a rifle's outline; these shades can vary noticeably between batches and are not intended to color-match across parts. For a uniform color across an entire build, Geissele recommends a separate finish such as DuraCoat or Cerakote.
Geissele Automatics was established in 2004 to build high-quality, reliable triggers for competition, starting with the Hi-Speed National Match trigger. That trigger's success led the Department of Defense to request a select-fire version for United States Special Operations, and Geissele later brought a semi-automatic version to the civilian market for law enforcement and personal protection.

super strong and smooth

I used to Lucas Gun grease on the top of this where it rides on the upper receiver, definitely stops the extra back pressure caused from a silencer. This is probably the smoothest way to use a charging handle in my opinion this is the best charging handle for the job! The color makes for a great looking piece of kit too!
My favorite ch by far

I’ve tried a lot of charging handles over the years but this is easily my favorite. It’s all I run in any of my setups now
