Details

The Geissele Automatics Mk8 Super Modular Rail is an ultra-light purpose-built free float handguard for the AR-15 platform. This modular rail features M-LOK slots on five surfaces for your favorite accessories that double as excellent heat venting to help your rifle run cool. The included proprietary barrel nut increases surface contact, increasing accuracy and repeatability of zero should the handguard be removed during maintenance.

Awesome Rail

Awesome rail. Extremely sturdy and light weight you can really bang this rail around and it will take the abuse. It does not get hot quickly, Im the type of guy who shoots mag after mag and it wont get hot fast. My only other experience with free float rails is the BCM KMR and this rail is far more robust and handles heat a lot better. I like this rail so muck I will ditch my KMR on my carbine build. The only "gripe" with this rail is it VERY tight to get on. It will take some patients and force but that just goes to show how well made it is.
