Geissele Automatics Super Reaction Rod for AR-15 Uppers

The Geissele Automatics AR-15 Super Reaction Rod takes the great features of the original AR-15 Reaction Rod with a new pre-loading system specifically designed for armorers in mind. When facing over torqued, seized, or Loctited barrel nuts, the SRD allows the user to eliminate any movement before applying torque to the barrel nut while simultaneously securing the upper receiver in position to remove any potential stress to the barrel indexing pin. Properly secured, the Super Reaction Rod allows the user to place tremendous torque on the barrel nut to get it loose or remove it in those extreme cases.

For easier installs where breaker bars aren't required, the pre-load lugs can be removed to give the SRD the same 360 degree flexibility as the original Reaction Rod. The Super Reaction Rod is cut from a solid bar of 4140 chrome moly steel and properly quenched/tempered and ground to an exact diameter that is smooth and straight so the rod will enter an upper receiver without wobble.
