Shotguns are some of the most versatile firearms out there. Your 12 gauge can be used to defend your home and hunt about any game that walks or flies. When shooting heavy loads,  a 12 gauge is also fairly heavy in terms of recoil. This s especially true, for example, when you plan on shooting slugs out of a semi-automatic shooting such as the Stoeger M3000. The added range and lethality of slugs make them a great game round, but if we’re gong to mount an optic, we need something hardy and solid.

This is a one piece scope mount hat lets you make use of the factory drilling and tapping on the shotgun without having to resort to large, usually ugly modifications in order to get some 19193 rail on the top of the receiver. This scope mount results in a low setup that looks factory. Installation is super simple: the Torx screws are included and all you need to do is center the mount and use the also included wrench. Some thread locking compound is also probably a decent idea. The result is an anodized section of 1913 rail that has a lifetime warranty and looks as good as it performs. This is a made in the US product that has an attractive matte black finish to match the shotgun. This is a simple to install and hardy way to get an option onto your shotgun, whether it’s a red dot or some other sort of magnified optic.
