The GG&G Mossberg 500 Sling and Flashlight Combo Mount is a unique design for attaching a tactical flashlight to the Mossberg 500 shotgun without interfering with the front sling attachment point. It's made from AS-35 Geneva steel and 6061-T6 aluminum for durability. This Mossberg 500 Accessories Light mount is ambidextrous, suitable for both right and left-handed shooters. It is also compatible with the Mossberg Maverick 88 platform. The accessory rail dovetail follows MIL-STD-1913 standards. The looped sling attachment accepts HK-style hooks and MASH hook sling attachments. Steel components have manganese phosphating, and aluminum parts have a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. The Accessory Rail length is 1 3/4". It weighs 1.5 oz. The combo mount is made in the U.S.A.

Paired this up with the gg&g mounting ring for 1" light. The rail does not sit on the tube once mounted, floats about ¹/⁴ inch above the magazine tube allowing it to flex once pressure is applied the the rear of the light. It just sticks out a Lil to far for me, from the end of the magazine tube to the end of a 1" light is just under 3 inches across, looking bulky and goofy. I'd buy a different mount knowing what I know now.

Great addition to my M500

This fits and functions great on my Mossberg 500. The previous one I have only had the mount for a flashlight. This one has a sling attachment as well. I order another one for my other barrel. Get it while it is on sale!!!
