Major improvement over stock mag release
by Rodney -
This is the perfect size and has very good fit & finish. Previous to this, I tried the Tango Down Vickers Tactical Extended Release and it was nothing but problems... I suspect the one I got was out of spec, but I was unwilling to go through the hassle of returning and getting a replacement to confirm whether it was bad or just plain doesn't work well. The Vickers kept tipping back into the mag tunnel enough to block the magazine on a reload. The mags would get 3/4 of the way in and jam against the bottom of the release.

<br>Fast forward to this Ghost Extended Release... It fits perfectly and adds just enough height that I no longer need to shift my grip to comfortably drop the mag. And not so much height that I worry about it getting bumped and causing every man's worst fear - premature ejection. It's also polymer, like the stock release, so it's not going to chew up your magazines like the aluminum ones can. This will be going in all of my Glocks.
Feels sticky

I wasn't crazy about the Vicker's Tactical extended mag release, so I figured I would give this one a try. I've tried it in 2 different Gen4 Glocks and it just doesn't feel smooth. It feels like there is more resistance than there should be when you press the release. I'm not sure if it's how it engages the spring or if it's dragging in the channel. Compared to other magazine releases I've used, the plastic seems rough, like it needs to be polished. Overall, the extension is nice. I don't have to adjust my grip to drop a magazine and it's out of the way when shooting or carrying.
