The Glock G48 MOS adds the Modular Optic System to the Slimline G48 platform — an optic-ready slide with the MOS adapter system for direct red dot mounting, combined with the Glock Slim Mounting Rail for accessory attachment, in the same 1.10-inch-wide profile that makes the G48 one of the most concealable full-grip-length 9mm pistols available. The updated MOS now ships with the new factory 15-round Slimline magazine.

The Glock G48 MOS is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, built on a black Slimline polymer frame with Glock Slim Mounting Rail, black nDLC-finished optic-ready steel slide with front and rear serrations, and 4.17-inch Glock Marksman Barrel.

The MOS slide accepts Glock's mounting plates for direct installation of today's most popular micro red dots — the adapter plate system keeps the optic footprint specific to each sight, maintaining a consistent and precise mounting interface. Without a plate installed, the MOS slide ships with a cover plate. The nDLC slide finish provides corrosion resistance that performs in saltwater conditions. The built-in beavertail positions the hand high on the frame for improved recoil control in the slim platform. The short trigger distance of the Slimline frame suits shooters with smaller hands without requiring modifications. The Glock Slim Mounting Rail accepts compact lights and lasers. The reversible magazine catch accommodates left-hand use. Safe Action trigger delivers 5.5 lb consistent pull with three passive safeties. Fixed white dot front and white outline rear sights co-witness at a standard height. Two 15-round factory Slimline magazines, mag loader, cleaning set, pistol case, and gun lock are included.
