The Glock 17 Gen 6 MOS Optic Ready 9mm Pistol gives users a full-size pistol with a grip designed to lock the hand in place and an MOS (Modular Optic System) slide built for red dot sights. Built for duty, home defense, and range use, this striker fired, semi auto 9mm pistol pairs a 4.49" barrel with a 17-round magazine capacity.

The Gen 6 frame combines a palm swell, a thumb rest, and a textured grip surface that help the hand settle into the same position every time. A flat-faced trigger gives consistent finger placement from shot to shot, and the full-size frame and 4.49" barrel provide a longer sight radius and better control than compact models.

The MOS slide is machined to accept adapter plates, which allow a wide variety of red dot sights to be mounted directly to the slide without sending it out for machining. Glock's Safe Action system uses three passive, independently operating mechanical safeties that disengage in sequence as the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when it is released.
