The GLOCK G17 V Series is a 9mm striker-fired pistol featuring the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, nDLC finish, front serrations, ambidextrous slide stop lever, reversible magazine catch, and SAFE ACTION system, available through the Blue Label program with fixed sights.

Four features define the V Series upgrade over the standard G17. The GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) provides improved polygonal rifling geometry for enhanced accuracy and easier cleaning compared to the hexagonal rifling of earlier GLOCK generations. The nDLC (nano Diamond-Like Carbon) surface finish delivers superior corrosion resistance and surface hardness compared to the standard Tenifer finish, maintaining function across harsh environmental conditions. Front serrations on the slide provide an additional grip surface for press checks and forward slide manipulation — particularly useful for shooters who prefer the support-hand forward technique. The reversible magazine catch and ambidextrous slide stop lever accommodate left-handed and right-handed operators equally at the user level without modification.
