The Great Lakes Firearms 1911DS Synergy is a single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, built on an injection-molded polymer grip frame in Blue Titanium Cerakote with a black Cerakote stainless steel slide and 5-inch 416R stainless steel barrel.

The 416R stainless steel barrel is precision-machined for consistent accuracy and long-term durability. The RMSc-footprint optic cut accepts Shield RMSc, Holosun 407K/507K, and compatible micro red dots directly — no adapter plate required. The fiber optic front sight and fixed rear sight deliver a fast, bright iron sight baseline with or without an optic mounted. The adjustable skeletonized trigger allows pull weight and travel customization for competition or defensive tuning. The beavertail grip safety prevents slide bite during high-grip shooting and ensures consistent activation. Ambidextrous safety controls accommodate left- and right-handed shooters equally. The injection-molded polymer grip frame reduces overall weight compared to all-steel 2011 frames while providing the ergonomic geometry 1911 shooters prefer.
