The Guntec USA Low Profile AR-15 Gas Block is a simple, robust gas block built to get the job done without fail. Built for .750" barrels, it uses a 3 set screw design to stay snug against the barrel through thousands of rounds without shifting position or loosening over time, even under hard recoil.

Features:

  • Machined from steel
  • Hardcoat anodized finish
  • .750" internal diameter
  • 3 set screw design
  • Includes Allen wrench and gas tube roll pin
  • Low profile design
  • Works best paired with a dimpled barrel
  • Fits most common AR-15 barrels at the gas block shelf

Three set screws bear down on the barrel to keep the block from shifting under recoil, and dimpling the barrel first gives the screws more surface area to grab for an even more secure fit. A hardcoat anodized finish protects the steel body from wear and corrosion over the life of the rifle, and the included Allen wrench and gas tube roll pin mean there's nothing extra to source before finishing the install on a first build or a running change.

Guntec USA has designed and manufactured tactical firearm accessories since 1989, aiming to offer quality parts at an accessible price for professionals and civilian shooters alike.

Hardware was cheap

by -

Two of the three mounting screws stripped upon assembly, and the supplied gas tube roll pin stopped going in and had to be driven out the other way. Used another extra roll pin I had laying around . Gas block feels rugged, and would've given 5 stars had the hardware not been cheap or flimsy.
