The Heckler & Koch VP9A1 takes the trusted VP9 striker-fired platform and improves it with an A1-generation upgrade package, in full-size F, compact K, crossover X, Tactical, and Match versions.

The A1 update adds a nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar for a shorter, smoother pull, a universal ergonomic grip with interchangeable backstraps and side panels, ambidextrous paddle-style releases, and a factory flared magwell. The K is compact, the X pairs the K's slide with the F's 17-round grip, and the Tactical versions add a threaded barrel.

HK offers the VP9A1 with optic-ready slides or with a factory-mounted Vortex Defender CCW or Holosun SCS, with 10, 15, 17, and 20-round magazines, and in a California-compliant version. The features above list what this version includes.
