Details

The Hera Arms H1 Magazine fits naturally in your hand with its tapered leading edge while a textured surface provides positive control.  Centering support fins along the mag square it off when inserted into the magwell, preventing it from rattling in place. Flush with magazine body, the floorplate is quickly removed by pushing out the locking tab making disassembly a breeze.

Really 9+1 Mag

Good:Fits well, no wobble, and quality construction. Great for shooting from a rest/lead sled and walking thru the woods while hunting. Bad: though you can physically fit 10 rounds in the mag you cannot load the mag with all 10 rounds with the bolt closed so this really is a 9+1 mag as you have to load a full mag with the bolt open.

I ordered these for spare mag's on top of that German engineering excellent on these ! I used them in my 300 blackout to see how they would do ran 100%

Disappointed. As mention you can fit 10 rounds but it wont seat fully. 9 rounds and it locks in

10 Rounds Fix

I got 10 rounds in mine and fits right in with the bolt closed. Slide the bottom plate keeper in the lower front magazine out. Take the spring and follower out and remove the spring. Cut about 3/8" off the front lower down guide of the follower. Reassemble and now you have room to load to capacity and insert with the bolt closed. Took me all of 5 minutes start to finish.

Economical and quality

Bought these despite some middling reviews. Using in my Mossberg MVP, and no complaints. Good size for benchrest or prone. No issues seating the mags or feeding.
Would have bought more but for the 5 mag limit, and now they're out of stock.

They load fine. Seat fine. They also don't like to seat well with the bolt in battery....but then again in the military they teach you to seat your magazines with the bolt open OR load 1 round short if you can't remember that you load with an open bolt. I have been lucky that some mags seat with a closed bolt but since that is NOT military spec I don't hold it against magazines that work to military spec.

Works great

I just finished building an AR sniper rifle with a lower bipod. Obviously 30 round magazines didn’t fit so good. I’ve always loved Hera products and saw them as a way to keep the quality level high. I was not disappointed at all. I sighted my rifle in at 300 yards and the magazines worked beautifully

Good mag to convert to 5 rounds

I bought two of these and used modified Magpul 5rd limiter to convert to 5 round mags for hunting. Worked well and can go back ten rounds easily.
