Hexmag 15/30 15-Round AR-15 Magazine - Series 2 - BLK

I wish I could like these mags but they generally don't feed well or lock in easy on my Aero Precision build. Same issue with BCM, esp when the bolt is closed.

I recently bought 10 of these series 2 mags to add to the 10 series 1 mags I have. The series 1 didn't lock in as easily but still work fine for me. These series 2 lock in easy so I don't know what the other guy is talking about with the series 2 not locking in with an Aero lower as my AR15 is Aero upper and lower. Hexmag is a great company with great customer support. I like that they are made in the USA.

Great Mags! I love these 15 round mags. I have 20 of them, 10 series 1 and 10 series 2. The series two definitely lock in faster but either way I have shot a lot of ammo through them with no jams or misfeeds. I don't know why someone would give this 2 stars because they are great mags.

I have had no issues with feeding and no issues with locking into the rifle.. Love the fact they are 15 rounds as well.... Will continue to buy more when they are on sale.....

I have been using these magazines since they first came out. I have both first and second series and have had no issues running them out of my AR platform rifles. Used them in my Noveske, Windhams and even PSA and never had an issue. For the price and reliability, I think you cannot go wrong. I have found that they are not as popular or common as the P-Mags so alot of people shy away from these.

These are great magazines, no tools needed for cleaning, plus they are very cheap, I just bought 10 of them at 6.00 each during black friday..

It's a very good polymer magazine. I originally got hexmags for range use because they are very competitively priced, and after ~1200 combined rounds through 14 of these mags, I never once had a failure that was induced by the magazine.

Two very minor issues that put them at 4 stars: the interior space front-to-back is ever so slightly less than a pmag, therefore I frequently find that the tip of the bullet will get hung up when loading if I am not deliberate about feeding the rounds all the way to the rear (I have never had this issue w/ a pmag). The plastic is also a little softer than pmags, as evidenced by how quickly I chew up the base plates when dropping them during reloads. That said, once loaded they have run extremely well, and the base plate damage has been purely cosmetic for what it's worth.

Unfortunately I have not had the best experience with these. I purchased and have been using 2 for the past 2 years and have ran a few hundred rounds through each and both have the same issue of not locking the bolt after the last round. PSA lower and Aero Precision upper for reference. I actually think they’re fairly easy to load and the rounds cycle fine even when rapid firing. I read that the series 1 hex mags were known for this issue but I am still experiencing the issue with my series 2. I am lucky to live in a 15 round restriction state so I have limited options for mags. I need to trust that I can confidently train with mags I plan on running but this issue is far too consistent to give this any more stars.
