Great competition optic
by Nicholas -
I have 2 of these and so far I've been quite happy with them. They haven't given me any problems whatsoever and seem pretty durable for a competition red dot.
I actually just had an SRO die on me but I have yet to have ANY Holosun dot die or give me any issues at all. I'm not saying Holosun is better by any means but they are legitimately good quality red dots at a pretty reasonable price.
Even if this cost as much as an SRO I think for this particular style of optic I'd personally go with the Holosun and I would have said that before my SRO gave me problems. I just like the window better. I don't care about the reticle options. You should probably just use the plain red dot. I think Holosun should make a version of this with just the dot. I don't think any competition shooters are using the other reticles. They don't offer any real utility for pistol shooting imo.
Waiting on HS for warranty
by Rob -
Arrived with dead battery. New battery worked but reticle was stuck on blindingly bright. + and - buttons completely unresponsive. Can’t unlock, can’t reduce blinding brightness, can’t manually switch off. Left it on my workbench overnight and was still on the next morning, so auto off not working either. Sent to HS for warranty. Coming up on week three and still no word or response from HS on warranty status.
Amazing

Going from a 407c to the 507 comp was amazing. Huge window, plenty of reticle options and holosun reliability!
Perfect for CZ Shadow 2
by P H -
I mounted this on the optics ready versions with a standard RMR footprint baseplate and it’s perfect.
Day 1 on the range and I cycled through all of the reticles, finding them useful for different shooting purposes. Probably will not use them all but I like having options. Holosun is my go to from now on for the price.
Overall happy, wish there was a 5 moa option
by Phin -
I have a 407c and 507c acss they both have an odd fish-eye affect that I struggle with so I had kind of sworn off Holosun's. I read a review about this one and it was mentioned that edge distortion was less than the SRO, so I decided to try one on a PCC. No noticeable distortion, no fish-eye affect. Really happy about that part.
I shot a match on with the 8 & 2 moa active. I'll be sticking with just 2 moa. If there were a non-selectable 5 or 6 moa option, I'd buy it.
