The Holosun HS515GM-GR Micro Dot Sight is packed full of features that make it one of the best values on the market. It comes the Multiple Reticle System (M.R.S.) that allows you to swap between two reticles depending on your preference. Either a single 2 MOA green dot or a 2 MOA green dot with a 65 MOA circle. It features a side mounted battery compartment that houses a single CR2032 battery that provides up to 5 years of battery life on the single dot mode and the shake awake system can even prolong the battery life. The shake awake system turns the optic off when no movement is present and automatically turns on at the slightest motion, so your firearm is always ready. This green dot sight is CNC machined from a block of 7075-T6 Aluminum. With a water resistance rating of IPX8, this optic can survive being submerged up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. The lenses are fully multicoated to allow for optimal light transmission and an extremely clear sight picture. This green dot sight is parallax free with an unlimited eye relief for fast target acquisition and is optimal with both eye open shooting techniques. Included with this optic is a two-piece QD mount, clear flip up lens covers, and a Kill Flash.

Beautiful optic

Just got this in the mail today glass is clear did not like the killflash so i easily removed it the reticle is crisp easily mounted to a American defense mount (not that the mount included was bad) just had an extra and perfer it cowitness with my iron sights and went through all the functions works great and my eye has that star burst problem with top of the line red dots this green cleared that up at least for my eyes turrets are great clicks have yet to shoot but so far im extremely impressed

Great Green Dot Optic

I wanted a small green dot optic for my new AR build. The HOLOSUN HE515GM-GR did not disappoint. It was easy to install with the QD mount and I had no issues with it moving or losing zero. I did need to make some adjustments to zero but that's part of the fun. After the zero the optic worked flawlessly at short to medium distances. I'm not a fan of the kill flash however, it was easy to take off.

Awesome little optic

For less then half the price of the popular premium red dot sights, this optic is great. To my eye the green is better to pick up then red. I like the reticle options but pretty much only use the 2 moa dot. I have just used the factory base and it seems to be holding zero well. The 1/3 co-witness height of 1.63 works really well for me.

A Fantastic Duty / Self-Defense Rifle Optic

I run this on a work rifle and have been very impressed. The included killflash and clear covers are a very nice touch if you want that extra protection. The reticle is super sharp and the brightness is plenty for about any environment. I like the 65 moa circle and 2 moa dot setup for ranging and using the lower hash for 7 yard engagements (great holdover mark). This is supposedly the much heavier duty model with the 7071 casing and is waterproof. The QD mount is very solid and I did not see the need to change it. It does come with a lower 1/3 spacer and can be low mounted for AKs, shotguns, PCCs. We have been using holosuns as duty optics for about two years now with everything from the 403 series to these and haven't had any issues. I'm a big Eotech and Aimpoint fan, but these 500 series Elites really give them a run for their money.
