300 Blackout was specifically designed to run subsonic loads reliably from standard AR-15 components with a suppressor attached. Hornady Subsonic 300 Blackout 208gr A-Max gives that platform the ammunition it was built for — reliably sub-speed-of-sound, suppressor-optimized, and accurately loaded.

The 208gr A-Max carries enough mass to stay clearly subsonic across temperature extremes and barrel lengths from 7" pistols to 16" carbines — no guessing whether a hot day pushed a marginal load over the threshold. At 208 grains, this load is optimized for the intended application in 300 Blackout.
