The IWI Jericho 941 FS9 is the mid-size steel-frame variant of Israel Weapon Industries' DA/SA service pistol — a CZ 75-derived short-recoil platform with a 3.8-inch cold hammer forged steel barrel, all-steel frame and slide, frame-mounted manual thumb safety for cocked-and-locked carry, Picatinny rail, adjustable dovetail sights, firing pin block, loaded chamber indicator, and 16+1 capacity, with two 16-round magazines included.
The IWI Jericho 941 FS9 Mid-Size (J941FS9) is a double-action/single-action hammer-fired 9mm pistol with a 3.8-inch cold hammer forged CrMoV polygonal-rifled barrel, all-steel frame and slide in black, frame-mounted manual thumb safety, Picatinny accessory rail, adjustable dovetail three-dot sights, firing pin block, and loaded chamber indicator. OAL: 7.6 inches. Weight: 36 oz. Twist: 1:10 RH polygonal. Capacity: 16+1. Includes two 16-round steel magazines. Made in Israel.
The Jericho 941's CZ 75-derived architecture is the engineering foundation that distinguishes it from most DA/SA service pistols — where many double-action designs mount the slide on rails positioned at the outside of the frame, the CZ 75 design the Jericho is based on inverts this relationship, with the frame rails wrapping around the outside of the slide. The inverted rail geometry provides a longer bearing surface between slide and frame, reducing the play and rattle that develops in conventional designs over high round counts and contributing to the Jericho's reputation for tight tolerances and mechanical durability throughout the service life of the pistol. The frame-mounted manual thumb safety enables two carry modes: cocked-and-locked single-action with a lighter trigger pull for rapid first-shot performance, or hammer-down double-action with a longer, heavier initial pull for shooters who prefer the additional deliberation of a DA first shot. The FS (Frame Safety) designation specifically identifies this as the safety variant rather than the decocker-only version, giving the shooter the option of cocked-and-locked carry that a pure decocker does not provide. The 3.8-inch mid-size barrel provides more concealable dimensions than the 4.4-inch full-size Jericho while retaining the all-steel construction and the full 16-round double-stack capacity. Cold hammer forged CrMoV barrel steel is the military-specification barrel material IWI uses across their service weapons. Polygonal rifling provides a tighter gas seal and reduced barrel wear compared to conventional cut rifling. The Picatinny rail provides weapon light mounting for duty and home defense configurations.
Caliber: 9mm Luger. Barrel: 3.8-inch cold hammer forged CrMoV, polygonal rifling, 1:10 twist. Frame: steel, black. Slide: steel, black, serrated. Action: DA/SA. Safety: frame-mounted manual thumb (cocked-and-locked capable). Sights: adjustable dovetail three-dot. Rail: Picatinny. Safety features: firing pin block, loaded chamber indicator. OAL: 7.6 inches. Weight: 36 oz. Capacity: 16+1. Magazines: two 16-round steel included. Made in Israel.
CZ 75-derived inverted rail geometry provides longer slide-to-frame bearing surface for maintained tolerances and mechanical durability over high round counts. Frame-mounted safety enables cocked-and-locked single-action carry — unavailable on decocker-only variants. Cold hammer forged polygonal barrel provides tight gas seal and extended barrel life. Mid-size 3.8-inch barrel balances concealability with full 16-round capacity. Two 16-round magazines included.
The right DA/SA steel-frame service pistol for shooters who want the CZ 75-derived inverted rail architecture in IWI's proven mid-size format — cocked-and-locked capability, 16+1 capacity, cold hammer forged barrel, and two magazines, made in Israel.
