Drastically reduce trigger pull as described!

by -

I purchased a couple sets to replace in Palmetto lowers in the Fall of 2017. These work amazing. The standard 7.5# trigger pull dropped to 4.75# in both lowers. I've ran a few hundred through the lowers with zero issues to date. Trigger pull remains in 4.75# range to date. I'm ordering more for other lower conversions. Excellent product and value.

Cheap alternative to a drop in.

Installed on a cmmg lower parts kit mil spec trigger in a poverty pony lower. The JP springs reduced the pull weight by a pound or more. I did polish the trigger before hand which slicked it up. There is a little take up almost like a two stage with a wall and then a clean break. It’s not my POF 3.5lb but I don’t not like it now.

Works great

Don't have a trigger weight gage to measure pull weight but the difference is very noticeable just using the trigger normally. Feels much Lighter immediately.Best 10 bucks spent on my new build

Best 10 bucks you will ever spend!

I'm sure just the springs make for a great upgrade. However, a polish plus this kit makes any trigger smooth as butter. I realise that sounds generic and overused but as soon as I pulled it for the first time "butter smooth" and "wow" were the first two things that popped into my mind. I'm still relatively new to building, so I was amazed and impressed at what this kit and a simple yet informative video from up on how to polish.
Stock triggers still have a bit of travel as others have said but its incredible how much smoother and lighter this kit makes it.
👍

Had to try them

Well worth the $10 , did a light polishing/smoothing on the trigger components and very happy with the improvement . Don't have a pull gauge but much lighter feel .

Definite Upgrade!

Installed these on a Spikes Battle Trigger and went from an average trigger pull of 7 lbs. to a smooth crisp 4.5 lb average trigger pull. Very Nice!

Great mod to Mil-Spec triggers

by -

Had two ARs that had 7# trigger pulls (a Windham Weaponry & a standard Mil-Spec kit in a Striker Lower). Ordered the springs, shipped fast, and did a simply install. Both ARs now test out with 4# trigger pulls. Took the Mil-Spec hammer and bobbed it to look like the hammers on the JP and Anderson drop-in triggers, and the trigger pull down to 3.6#. On the range, I had no lite strikes or problems, and groups were tighter.

Budget way to reduce trigger pull weight

by -

Budget way to reduce ar-15 trigger pull weight. Had an Smith and Wesson M&P-15 that had a mushy trigger and god awful trigger pull. But replacing the springs with this helped reduce the mushy feeling and reduce the trigger pull to about 4lb 6 oz almost 2lb deducted from original.

Best money I've spent on a trigger upgrade

The best $10 you'll ever spend on your mil spec trigger. I have a Saint Victor pistol. The trigger components are nickel boron coated and even though it's a little less than the 8lb mil spec trigger pull, it was still heavier than I wanted. It was pulling around 6.5lb. By just swapping out these 3 springs the weight is now down to exactly 4lb consistently. It's very smooth and feels amazing. I just installed it, so I can't say if there'll be any light strikes and I'll update if need be. But I doubt I'll have any issues. If you want a new, lighter trigger, try this kit before you go spend $150+. I think you'll be very pleased with what you get. But if somehow you're not, you'll only be out $10. My next purchase will consist of one of the JP silent captured buffer springs and several more of these trigger spring kits for my other rifles and pistols. Fantastic job JP Enterprises, and thanks to Primary Arms for outstanding shipping times and great customer service.

great trigger

I bought the hammer, sear and spring kit some years ago and I just love it. Very smooth, no creep, adjustable weight. I can't think of a better trigger for an AR-15. I would not hesitate to buy another if i I got another AR.
