First adjustable

by -

Bought this for my pistol build suppressed. Wasn't as easy to line up as a set screw type block, but with a little patience it works beautifully. Loved it so much I bought another one for my 556.

Everything about it is bad but it does work

by -

The shape makes it impossible to rest against or clamp to put put the pin for the tube in. MAKE SURE TO REMOVE the adjuster screw when installing or removing the gas tube, i learned the hard that even though its below it still goes into the hole in the tube. The adjuster screw is on the side, cant access it unless you notch your guard. The lock down set screw in front is a super tiny allen head, its SAE not metric, strips easy. The 4 torx screws are really shallow so they strip easy. And it wont fit any of the AR15 handguards I own. I had it on a 308 but switched barrels and it moved it 1/4" back and did not line up with my hole I put in the handguard and did not want to cut it more. Ive tried this on 4 guns now and its still sitting in my parts bin. Please note it is very application specific and not a "fit all" piece. So many extra parts of it are milled and machined just for looks its nothing special and extremely overpriced.

Good gas block BUT

by

This is a great gas block BUT it dose not fit under standard ar15 handguards I bought 2 of these gas blocks one the went under a carbon fiber handgaurd that has a lager then standard diameter and it worked amazing I have now tried to fit it under the 3rd standard size hand guard And it will not fit without contacting the hand guard and pushing the hand guard out of center of the barrel so yes this is a great gas block BUT be aware that it most likely will not fit under a standard handguard so I wouldn't call it low profile

nice block

used on an AR308 build. you can tell it is quality just by the machining. I backed it out 4.5 turns for my rifle length gas system in a mostly Aero upper

Great Fit to any custom build

by

Purchased this for a custom 6.8 spc 16" socom barrel. The fit was excellent, it only took 5 shots to set the adjustable gas port. This thing is running like a sewing machine.

well made

Well made an good fit. Little tight under my hand guard but wasn't much room to start with.

Ar build

Quick Service Quality Part

Primary got the block to me in a hurry and the JP block fit the barrel perfectly. The adjustment screw is located such that it matches the opening in my rail so that adjustments can be made on the range quickly and easily.

Low profile adjustable gasblock

by

It installed real easy...once I found the tip that said if the block is difficult to put on (opening is closed too much) to put a screw in the install hole, put a quarter in the slot underneath, turn the screw in until it hits and rides against the quarter...ah read the instructions and you'll see that it works in opening up the block so that it slides on nicely. Adjustment feature is nice as I am of the opinion that it is a must for most .308 builds. Just an opinion, so don't throw stones.
