The Kahles K18i-2 1-8x24 3GR is a 1-8x second focal plane LPVO with an illuminated 3GR reticle in a 34mm tube, featuring the VISIONFLEX optical design for 18% wider field of view and a remarkably generous eyebox, MAXLIGHT extreme backlight illumination, .1 MRAD click adjustment, parallax at 100m, and an interchangeable throw lever.

Four features define the K18i-2's advancement over the K18i. The VISIONFLEX revolutionary optical design delivers an 18% wider field of view than the K18i — expanding from 127.5 to 150.0 feet at 1x — while simultaneously creating a remarkably generous eyebox that provides a full sight picture across a wider range of eye positions. This dual benefit addresses the two primary limitations of high-magnification LPVOs: restricted situational awareness and the demanding eye alignment that compact eyeboxes require during rapid movement and transitions. MAXLIGHT illumination maintains reticle visibility against extreme backlight conditions that defeat standard illuminated reticles, keeping the 3GR reticle usable in the worst lighting scenarios competition or tactical use produces.
