This FLASH CAN is the real deal

by -

I purchased this item as a "placeholder" when my can is not in use. Being that I have a barrel which is shorter than the hand-guard, this item is perfect. It does a good job of handling the flash of a 5.56. I used it in a well lit range so I cannot attest to its effectiveness at night. The quality of materials, fit and finish is excellent. KAK manufactures a solid product line.

Does it’s job

I purchased this for a short 300 blackout pistol build. It is slightly larger in diameter than is stated in the description, so I was unable to fit it inside of my slim handguard. It also states that it is designed to mount directly to the shoulder of the barrel. It did not time properly and kept loosening during use. Muzzle shims allowed proper timing and it hasn’t loosened since. I have only shot at 50 yards so far, but there has been no impact on accuracy so far. It seems durable and keeps the fireball away from me so I still give it a 4.
