The KAK Retro Extended Flash Hider is designed based off of the XM-177 moderator and is perfect for bringing 10.5" barrels to 16" when pinned and welded. It is made from heat treated steel with a durable Manganese Phosphate finish and wrench flats for easy installation. This device is not designed to reduce recoil, muzzle rise, or flash signature. This device is designed to direct gasses and noise forward from the shooter and enhance the weapons appearance. Threaded 1/2x28 for 5.56 or similar weapons.

Phosphate finish should match well, had a little chip stuck in it. No issue. Bought it for a guy wanting the asthetics, fits the bill, heavy, but should direct sound and kill flash well. Worth it. Would buy another.
