The KAK flash can is a solid 6061 Aluminum Device that is designed to direct muzzle gases and the muzzle flash forward. This device is not designed to reduce recoil, muzzle rise, or flash signature. This device is designed to direct gasses and noise forward from the shooter and enhance the weapons appearance. This muzzle device does not use a crush washer and should be torqued directly against the barrel shoulder. Measures 1.200" DIA and is 1.75" long. Threaded 1/2x28 for 5.56 or similar weapons

Love this micro flash can. Same length as A2 flash hider. Perfect fit & look on my 10.5" upper.

Love the sizer of it. It sits on my 10" rifle. Took it to range and ran a 100 rounds through it. It directs sound down range as advertised.
Works as intended

Put this on a 7.5 pistol and its does the job. Directs all the blast and gasses forward away. Definitely better than the standard A2 flash hider that comes with it.

Okay, I'm 68 years young and have been shooting and living in and around heavy equipment for 58 years. This little addition to all of my 5.56 and 7.62 rifles is the cherry on top of the cake. If you're looking for a well built very functional noise forwarding asset to any of your rifles OR pistols you are looking at the best made. All you need to do is look at all of the KAK flash cans and decide what length will fit on the individual weapon you are wanting to quiet down. NOTE, they are very loud within a enclosed shooting range due to the way they toss the report forward. I like to think of it as a ventriloquist. Enjoy!

I ordered this for a 10.5 pistol. It shipped promptly, great service. I ordered it to replace a standard birdcage, and it has worked very well. I am a firm proponent of blast forwarding devices for short barrels. They work.
