The Kel-Tec P17 is a double-action-only semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR, built on a Shimmer Silver polymer frame with a matching silver steel slide and 3.8-inch threaded barrel.

The 3.8-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for direct suppressor and muzzle device attachment — one of the most accessible entry points into suppressed .22 LR shooting available. The fiber optic front sight provides a fast, bright aiming point and the adjustable rear sight allows for windage and elevation correction without gunsmithing. The Picatinny-style accessory rail accepts lights and lasers. Both the safety and magazine release are fully ambidextrous for right- or left-hand use without modification. The loaded chamber indicator provides a quick visual and tactile chamber status check. The grip texture is molded directly into the Shimmer Silver polymer frame for a consistent, snag-free profile.
