KNS Precision .308 Standard Pivot Pin

Well I gave them three stars for being short, I’m changing that to a five, and giving myself one star for not reading the whole description which plainly states for a DPMS style receiver. Also, five stars for Dave in customer service who contacted me right away to correct the problem. I’ve always had good service with PA and look forward to continuing that.

The pivot pin is well made but short on a LMT lower. Neither kns pins extend past the side of the receiver. Maybe they were packaged wrong, but a no go for me.

I built my AR10 from a 80% lower. both of the pins that came with the lower build kit were short about 3/16. this pin fit perfectly.

As most people are finding out when you buy any sort of .308 lower kit, some of the parts are not fitting. The take down/pivot pins are one of those parts. I got these and they fit perfectly.

Length from under head to tip of pin 1.516 - inch. Wide detent slot. Fit both steel and brass detent pins.

Same size as a DPMS LR308-LP-005 Pivot Pin. 1 1/2 inches. Woks on an M1 Machine (.308) 80% lower receiver.

perfect fit in my Alexandrie lower.pin is 1.4915 long from under the headOverall it's 1.6395 .
