As far as material and quality this is a solid buffer tube, functions as expected. It's an A5 length buffer tube that does A5 buffer tube things. The term FDE is a stretch, even by Geissele standards. The color is GOLD with a matte finish, not FDE, not tan, GOLD . It may be neat to see the contrast as the Aluma-hyde wears. I want to give it 3 stars, if it were actually FDE I would give it 5 Stars.
