Paired this with a Lantac Dragon on my LWRC M6IC-SPR and the felt recoil is ZERO! you feel the blt carrier group and piston moving but theres no transfer of energy to your shoulder perfect for making those long range shots

This thing is sweet. Makes my AR feel like a 22.. Oh wait...

While it does reduce the recoil in my AR, it appears that my bolt will not lock to the rear after I fire my last round. I tried this with an LWRC as well as a CMMG and they both would fail to lock the bolt to the rear when I was using this product, but would lock with their original buffers. Maybe it's because its new, I will update this review if it gets better.
Awesome and Easy Upgrade!

Paired with an adjustable compensator (Odin Atlas, or my favorite, Rage Compensator) the rifle is amazingly stable for faster follow-on shots. The AR purists say it's already tame-but, kids love shooting my tuned AR and are so proud of themselves driving tacs at 200+!
recoil reducing wonder
by sweaty jeff
I bought this for an unexpectedly snappy 9mm AR pistol I built. Due to its small size and relative lightweight the recoil of this AR pistol was as surprising as it was unpleasant. This hydraulic buffer while not cheap reduced the felt recoil by a large margin. Highly recommend if you have an issue with recoil. I'm not sure it'd be worth the expense in a regular AR rifle but if you have a snappy pistol or shoot from a bipod often I can see the value.
Grab one, you won't be dissapointed.

I use this in my 6.5 Grendel in conjunction with a Tubb Flat wire spring, and people can't believe how little felt recoil there is when shooting my rifle.
There is one odd thing about this, the last 1/4" of pull on the charging handle is stiffer than the rest. This is not a problem once you get used to it.
