L3Harris GPNVG Panoramic Night Vision Goggle with Battery Pack

The Ground Panoramic Night Vision Goggle (GPNVG) represents a significant innovation in night-vision technology. L3Harris designed the GPNVG as a head-mounted system for armed professionals — special operations forces and other military personnel — to provide night-vision capability without sacrificing situational awareness or visibility.

Standard binocular night-vision goggles supply a 40° field of view. L3 has more than doubled this FOV to 97° by using four unfilmed white phosphor image-intensifier tubes in a panoramic pattern. The increased FOV significantly increases the safety, reaction time, and situational awareness of soldiers, marines, sailors, airmen, and other personnel under a variety of circumstances. This includes when riding in ground vehicles and watercraft. 

Thanks to L3’s solder-free replaceable image-intensifier tube design, the GPNVG is simply to maintain and keep functional for extended operations. The GPNVG also uses standard 18mm MX-10160-pattern image-intensifier tubes.

ANVIS and BNVIS mounting configurations increase the versatility of this system. Highly modular, the GPNVG also allows you to detach individual monoculars to use as handheld night-vision devices.
