The Leupold Mark 4 is a 12-40x60mm tactical spotting scope with a first focal plane TMR (Tactical Milling Reticle) in a rugged magnesium housing, designed for precision target identification and ranging.

The TMR reticle expands on the standard MIL Dot design, using hash marks instead of dots for increased ranging precision. Hash marks are spaced 0.5 MIL apart, with 0.2 MIL spacing on the outer edges. As a first focal plane reticle, it remains accurate for ranging across the full magnification range. DiamondCoat 2 exterior lens coating provides higher light transmission and Leupold's highest level of abrasion resistance, improving brightness, clarity, and contrast. Folded light path technology contributes to the compact, lightweight design, and a built-in 1/4-20 tripod adapter makes tripod mounting straightforward.
