The Leupold Mark 5HD is a 3.6-18x44mm first focal plane riflescope with a non-illuminated TMR reticle, 35mm maintube, M5C3 ZeroLock adjustments, and precision side focus.

The TMR expands on the MIL Dot reticle design, using hash marks instead of dots for increased ranging and holdover precision. Hash marks are spaced 0.5 MIL apart, transitioning to 0.2 MIL spacing on the outer edges. The first focal plane reticle scales accurately at any magnification, so the TMR's measurement features are usable across the full 3.6-18x range. The M5C3 ZeroLock elevation dial provides up to 29 MILs of total adjustment in 0.1 MIL clicks across three revolutions. ZeroLock prevents accidental dial movement. ZeroStop creates a backstop at zero. The precision side focus adjusts parallax for a sharp, stationary reticle. It is up to 20 oz lighter than other riflescopes in its class.
