The Leupold Mark 5HD is a 3.6-18x44mm first focal plane riflescope with a non-illuminated Tremor 3 reticle designed by Horus Vision, 35mm maintube, M5C3 ZeroLock adjustments, precision side focus, and a Dark Earth finish.

The Tremor 3 is a MIL-based grid reticle with centralized dots at crosshair intersections for refined aiming points, chevron MIL markers measuring 0.1 MIL, more holdover dots than the Tremor 2, rapid ranging marks above the central horizontal line, and an open upper half for observation. Numbered lines allow quick identification, and multiple aiming points support follow-up shot corrections. The M5C3 ZeroLock elevation dial provides up to 29 MILs of total adjustment in 0.1 MIL clicks across three revolutions. ZeroLock prevents accidental dial movement. ZeroStop creates a backstop at zero. The precision side focus adjusts parallax at different distances. Motion Sensor Technology (MST) is present but only activates with illumination — this model is non-illuminated.
