Mounting a standard 30mm riflescope on an AR-style rifle raises two common problems: the scope ends up too low and too far back. The Leupold Mark IMS 30mm cantilever mount fixes both, raising the optic to the right height and pushing it forward to provide a full field of view and proper eye relief.

The Leupold Mark IMS 30mm is a one-piece aluminum cantilever scope mount for MIL-spec 1913/Picatinny rails, designed for 30mm maintube scopes, with a forward cantilever design and 1.5-inch ring height.

The forward cantilever design places the scope forward on the rail for a full field of view and proper eye relief — eliminating the need for risers or specialized short-eye-relief optics. The 1.5-inch ring height matches standard AR open sight height, making it easier to get behind the scope from a natural head position without fighting the stock.
