The Leupold VX-6HD Gen 2 4-24x52mm FireDot Duplex pairs the same 6x zoom professional-grade platform as the TMOA configuration with the FireDot Duplex reticle — an illuminated center dot inside a traditional Duplex post layout, giving hunters a fast, uncluttered aiming point in low-light conditions without the grid or holdover marks of the TMOA. The Leupold VX-6HD Gen 2 4-24x52mm is a second focal plane riflescope with a 34mm main tube, 52mm objective lens, side focus parallax, illuminated FireDot Duplex reticle, and CDS-SZL2 turret system, finished in matte black.

The FireDot Duplex places a single illuminated red dot at the reticle's center intersection — visible in any light condition from full sun to pre-dawn darkness — surrounded by the bold Duplex posts that provide a fast, natural aiming picture without covering the target. The illuminated dot activates independently of the reticle posts, allowing the shooter to turn it on only when ambient light demands it. Guard-ion lens coatings shed water, dirt, and smudging from both lenses while delivering HD resolution and best-in-class glare management across the full magnification range.
