The Lewis Machine And Tool MRP-L Stripped AR-15 Upper Receiver is the starting point for an LMT MRP CQB build. Built as a bare monolithic quad-rail upper, this receiver gives builders the ability to reconfigure barrel length and caliber without buying a second rifle.

This CQB receiver fits intermediate-caliber cartridges with barrels between 14.5"-18", and by installing different LMT barrels, the same receiver can go from a short-barreled carbine to a full-length SPR, or transition to .300 Blackout or .224 Valkyrie, without buying multiple guns. The CQB receiver is one of three available MRP sizes, using a shorter handguard than the full-size MRP-L or the .308-class MWS, which keeps the platform compact while still supporting rifle-length builds.

The monolithic top rail provides a single, uninterrupted mounting surface for fully variable optics placement, the 5 QD points give flexible sling setup options, and the receiver ships with a forward assist installed. Precision machining throughout keeps the barrel-to-receiver fit tight and repeatable across barrel swaps.
