Magpul CZ Scorpion Magazine Release

In recent years, there has been a rapid expansion in the segment of the firearms market around small personal defense weapons. Among those, there are few as high quality, well received, or frankly cool as the CZ Scorpion. This is a truly modern personal defense weapons whether in its pistol or carbine configurations. With that said, some people aren’t super happy with the magazine release, so Magpul has responded by making an aftermarket option that is a great upgrade. 

The Magpul CZ Scorpion Mag Release, designed to be both affordable and ambidextrous, is meant to upgrade the standard magazine release on the EVO3 family of Scorpions. The paddle maximizes economy of moment, allowing one handed magazine extraction. As with a lot of Magpul products, this one is made of high-strength polymer that will remain easy to use and reliable for years thanks to the texturing on the surface. These install really easily, with a single roll pin.  Basically, all you have to do is punch out the pin that is holding in the current release, pull out the old magazine release, put this one in the same place and re-insert the pin. All in all, it will be a fast and easy modification. Once it’s done,  your Scorpion will be a little bit fast to run than when it came out of the factory. As always, Magpul has made an accessor that will make the shooter’s life a little easier.
