I bought a black and a FDE one! They were on sale! I bought the picatiny rail versions but they come in other style mountings too! Two allen headed/flat tip screws clamp it to the rail! I have picatiny rail mounts on most of my free float forends; so it's a simple swap. They appear to be very well made and function as designed. They are on a 5.56 and a 300 BlackOut so not a lot of recoil. Time will tell how durable they are! Hey it's a Magpul!
