NOTE: This TYPE 2 Kit uses taller backstraps for optimized fit with certain 7.62x51 receivers such as the Armalite AR-10A/B/T, DPMS LR308, KAC SR25, LaRue OBR, LMT .308 MWS, Palmetto PA10, and S&W M&P10.
Some 7.62x51 variants such as the Aero Precision M5 308, CMMG Mk3, CORE Rifle Systems CORE30, HK 417/MR762A1, LWRCI REPR, Mega Arms MATEN, POF P-308, Ruger SR-762, and SIG716 will require the TYPE 1 Kit.
The TYPE 1 Kit will fit most 7.62x51 AR lower receivers however, there may be a gap between the beavertail and the receiver. If present, this gap is purely aesthetic and will not affect function.

My favorite grip

This is, by far, my favorite grip. Easy to customize the fit to my large hands. I have these on each of my ARms.

I have one grip for my AR-15 and one for my DPMS LR-308 and I really like them. Very comfortable, storage is a plus, looks nice, all for a good price.
Shame on Magpul

First off, big PA fan. I have ordered thousands of dollars from here, so my gripe isn't with them. Their service and shipping is awesome.
However, this Magpul AR10 grip sucks, and I love Magpul products. I have had to sand and dremel the sh*t out of the beavertail on the large backstrap to get it to fit on my Aero M5 lower. I actually thought I mistakenly ordered an AR15 grip. I have spare BCM, Troy and standard grips at home and they all fit fine.

A custom fit

I was a little bit sceptical when I seen these as I am not a huge fan of the MOE grip. But when I got this grip my doubts were quickly erased. You can really customize the fit for whatever size hand you have. I run the large back strap with the A2 style front and I love it. Plus the stash spot with lubricant bottle is a nice bonus. Fill it up with some Fire Clean and you always got it with you.
