Magpul MOE Mil-Spec Fixed Carbine Stock - Black

Very well made and fits perfectly without any rattle. The problem is that it is 1.5 inches shorter than a normal stock and puts the shooters nose in the charging handle unless wearing backpack straps or battle gear.

Wanted a fixed stock on this particular build and this was a great choice.

Perfect fit. Length is ~2" shorter than fixed length rifle stock, but L.O.P. may be adjusted just like the collapsible ones with a butt pad extension if it doesn't quite fit you.

This was exactly what I was looking for in a solid built fixed stock at a great price and from a great company. My state compliance requires a fixed stock and after looking a other more pricier ones.. this was my choice and will be getting another for my other rifle. Buy the longer butt pad it you are a person with a bigger built frame.

My first AR had the usual cheap 6 position M4 retractable stock. I had to get rid of it. It wobbled and felt terrible. I ordered the Magpul Moe Fixed Carbine Stock from Primary Arms. Not only did they have the lowest price on the internet they shipped it to me within hours of ordering it!
I ended up filing a slot it the adjustment rail of my buffer tube so I could lengthen the length of pull. This stock is solid! Looks great! It's perfect! I will be ordering more for all my future AR builds. The only way to go for me. Thanks Primary Arms!

Ordered this because I "grew up" on fixed stocks. Hell in basic back in 1987 we didn't know anything about collapsible stocks. This one works. No wiggle which I didn't like with my adjustable.
Now the "ISSUE" is the length of pull. I installed this and the voice of my DI saying, "Get your nose up on that charging handle." was clear as a bell. And it isn't hard to do. Shouldered the rifle and BANG my nose was on the charging handle.
If you are aware of this then this is not a huge issue. It is a solidly built stock and lightweight. I ordered the extended pad and will see how that helps. As I am not using it for competition the LOP isn't a huge issue for me.
Hope it helps if your on the fence about this stock. Oh and install. A snap. Took only a few minutes to get old stock off and this one on.

Great stock! I really like the length of pull that you get with the included factory butt pad. I put this on an SBR that I use for CQC training in a homemade course with tight corners and narrow corridors. This stock is great for offering the stability of a fixed stock and still having a short enough length of pull where you can pull the rifle in close and quickly shoulder the weapon or change positions on your body. I like this design vs a lot of the minimalist stocks because they had quite a bit of flex if you lean into them too much. Once installed, the Magpul is rock solid and has held up very well. The thing I don't like is the cheap appearance. There is a mold gap between the stock and the adaptor that butts up to the receiver. This leaves a small gap that's unattractive and catches on facial hair. I was able to mostly correct it by taking some 220 sand paper to it and smoothing the edges, but I ended up putting gaffer's tape on it to eliminate it from pulling my hair.

Install took less than a few minutes. The recoil pad is made of very thin rubber, wish it was a tad bit thicker. Shipping was quick.

I got this buttstock to use on a California compliant rifle. But, unfortunately, the front of the stock interferes with the Juggernaught Tactical compliant grip. But, all is not lost...I can use it on a .22LR build.
The stock is simple, well-made and installs easily with one screw. I'll use it some day so it's a keeper.
