Details

The MOE-K2 is a drop-in upgrade for the AR-15/M4 offering a more vertical grip angle. The steeper vertical grip angle is optimized for use with personal defense weapon configurations, improving comfort and control on short length of pull rifles. Features an aggressive trapezoidal surface projection texture for positive weapon control and a unique backstrap design for proper trigger finger placement. Compatible with optional Magpul Storage Cores (not included). All mounting hardware and a basic grip cap included.

NOTE: This grip will function properly with 7.62 NATO AR-10/SR25 rifles however, depending on the make of the rifle, it may leave a gap between the beavertail and the receiver. If present, this gap is purely aesthetic and will not affect function.

fits the hand

a good, inexpensive upgrade and it fits most peoples hand and has good grip texturing and a battery or parts compartment.

Magpul MOE K2 Grip

This is a strange grip at first I did not like it but with a an old hand injury it lets my hand sit at a more normal position the upper resected notch is a little over kill. Magpul needs to put a hinge instead of the drop out storage lid on this unit if you drop it in the forest its gone and so is your stored stuff. Good grip though a little heavy but solid and comes with a hex drive screw but no lock washer.

A Great Grip -- 11 outa 10!

I've tried at least 24 different grips -- Magpul, Hogue, Ergo, you name it and this grip fits my hand best. YMMV of course since we are all different... I like that it is more vertical than most, the grippiness is great and the storage compartment has various options from Magpul to specifically carry items you need such as extra batteries, gun oil or a small cleaning kit. The storage compartment is not waterproof but since I won't be swimming with my rifle anytime soon I figure that this feature will not limit me...

Hard Plastic

I dont like that it feels like a hard plastic with dimples on it. However, you might. I like that little bit of rubber feel. However, its a good shape/size.
