The Magpul Original Equipment M-LOK Handguard for AR-15/M4 firearms combines the light weight of a standard handguard with modular flexibility of a rail system.
M-LOK slots at the 2, 6, and 10-o'clock positions provide space for 1913 Picatinny rail sections or direct mount M-LOK accessories.

I bought this to lighten the load up front on my too heavy FDE furniture Colt LE6920. I previously had a full length two-piece drop-in quad rail with a FSB cutout covered in rail panels, ladders, and with a angled fore grip. Jut found that setup to be too cumbersome, and I don't need all that rail space. The M-Lok feature, IMHO, needs some ironing out. Now, I haven't tried it on a non-polymer setup, and perhaps the cam nuts and mounting system work better there, but I had a heck of a time getting my adapter rail and QD mount (both Magpul) to install without spinning nuts and needing to access the backside anyway. Either way, I got them to work, and just like every other Magpul hand guard I have, this fit perfectly, locked up tight, and will thoroughly be enjoyed in its new home.

Nobody beats MagPul. I put this with the matching fixed stock on a 16" carbine with iron sights just for fun shooting. Looks way better than the Mil-Spec stuff and feels great in the hand. Could care less about the M-Lok stuff because I wont be mounting anything on it. Works great for a basic iron sight carbine! Its tough and the FDE color looks great. Plus w/ PA's shipping service you can't beat the deals you get.
