Magpul never designed the Pro 700 Lite SA chassis specifically to compliment the Remington 700 platform, they built the chassis to enhance the shooter's firing experience and offer them a solid foundation while giving them the option to customize the chassis to their preferences. The bonus of having the Magpul Pro 700 work so well with the Remington 700 can only be seen as a big bonus for the user.

The versatility of the Pro 700 is evident in the interchangeable injection molded polymer grips. There are two grip options. The first is with a 5-degree forward edge sweep and large palm swell with 7-degree aft edge sweep. The second grip option is with an 8-degree forward edge sweep and 20-degree aft edge sweep. These two grips will allow the shooter to swap out grips according to which angle best suites their hand shape and provides them with optimal comfort.

The optimized shooter interface comes with a 0.8" comb height and 1.4" of LOP adjustments, on top of a low-profile rubber butt-pad that sits firm into the shooter's shoulder allowing for a more focused shot.

With a simple change of a bolt retainer plate, the Magpul Pro 700 Lite SA is fully ambidextrous, while the AICS-pattern magazine includes an ambidextrous mag release. The added M-LOK slots towards the front of the chassis gives the shooter the option to add any accessories they wish.
