Not for short arms
Comparing this with the LMT DMR STOCK it’s close in build and performance. I’m 5 foot 10 inches and the length of the magpul stock is very long . I certainly have no use for the length of pull adjustment.i bought the LMT on sale for a good price but no longer can find it on sale . So I went with the magpul . So the savings on the magpul kinda evens things out .i mostly use mine for benchrest anyways so all works for me.
Great for “lanky” arms

Finished installing on a 16” DPMS GII AP4. The factory carbine buffer fit extremely tight, and modifications were done so the QD pin would fit and hold at the front of the buffer. For my shorter barrel application it adds weight to the rear and for me makes offhand shooting more enjoyable. Overall excellent product and perfect overall length of pull for my 7’ wingspan! In the future I’ll be adding a 24” bull barrel and switching to a rifle length buffer kit making it either a great bench rifle or SASS for hunting (longer barrel in a shotgun sling). Magpul states performance is better/best with a rifle length buffer so I’ll do some comparisons.
Bit heavy but a nice precision shooter stock
Nice quality stock. Fits on my 308 platform nicely but the cheek comb does limit travel of the charging handle. I suspect this is not an issue on the smaller platforms. I used a rifle buffer so I cannot comment on fitment with a carbine buffer. Fit and finish is excellent.
<br>This stock is heavy. I was originally thinking I would use it for precision and hunting purposes. The added weight doesn't really make it feasible for field purposes like hunting so I will keep it mated to my bench gun. The added weight also changes the balance of the gun. I would not recommend this for shorter barrel rifles.

Great upgrade from previous generation. Installed on AR10 platform with no issues. Cant and height adjustment on butt-pad along with LOP and check riser adjustments ensure perfect fit and check weld for every shooter. And as always service from Primary Arms is exceptional.
Great Product, outstanding customer service
well worth the price. this thing is solid. primary arms is incredible with shipping and customer service, I didn't receive an order confirmation and when I emailed PA four days later to inquire, the rep responded promptly only to notify me that my order had already been delivered. I am more than happy with the product and especially Primary Arms. I will exclusively be ordering from them going forward
Hands down the best option for your at 10 precision rifle
Does not fit Larue
Does not fit Larue OBR 7.62 "carbine" buffer. Requires a $60 buffer tube setup putting the total cost over $300. Measure before you buy
