Magpul Ranger Plate USGI 5.56x45 Floor Plate - 3 Pack - OD Green

The Magpul Ranger Plate upgrades the standard USGI 30-round aluminum magazine with an integrated pull loop and floorplate lock, combining the no-frills reliability of mil-spec magazines with the reload speed improvements that tactical shooters have long demanded — in OD Green.

The Magpul Ranger Plate is a floorplate replacement for USGI 30-round aluminum 5.56x45 magazines, incorporating a Santoprene rubber pull loop, integral floorplate lock, and magazine identifier in a direct drop-in configuration.

Replacing the factory floorplate takes seconds and requires no permanent modification to the magazine body. Once installed, the Ranger Plate's pull loop gives the shooting hand an immediate tactile reference point during magazine retrieval from a pouch or drop during a reload, cutting the time spent fumbling for a flat-bottomed magazine under stress. The Santoprene rubber loop is overmolded onto a stainless steel plate, giving it the flexibility of rubber with the structural backing needed to handle the pulling forces of fast, aggressive reloads. The OD Green color provides field-appropriate concealment while serving as a quick visual identifier for distinguishing loaded magazines from empty ones when color-coding a loadout.

Direct replacement for the factory floorplate on current-issue USGI aluminum 30-round 5.56x45 magazines. Not compatible with PMAG or aftermarket polymer magazines.

Santoprene rubber over stainless steel construction provides the material durability needed for the repeated pulling and handling forces associated with high-volume training and operational use. The patented loop design formalizes the improvised para-cord and tape tab methods developed by special operations units for improving magazine management under field conditions.

The correct upgrade for military and law enforcement shooters running USGI aluminum magazines who want improved reload speed without abandoning their existing magazine inventory, and for competition shooters who require a low-profile floorplate upgrade for rifle divisions where USGI magazines are required or preferred.

Magpul backs the Ranger Plate with their manufacturer warranty, delivering a USA-made USGI magazine upgrade with a track record in both military and competition environments.
