Details
A shielded operation lever and friction locking system prevent accidental operation and minimize excessive stock movement for enhanced weapon stability and accuracy. The STR incorporates two sling loops, a reversible push-button QD sling mount, and a replaceable 0.30" thick rubber butt-pad which provides positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage even with body armor or modular gear.
NOTE: Friction lock performance may vary depending on the host receiver extension dimensional tolerances.

A definite step up from the CTR stock

No wobble or rattle on the buffer tube. I store 4 batteries for my red dot in the 2 storage holds. The locking lever means I will always find the exact same check rest, which is very comfortable.
Great stock

I purchased this stock for my AR-15. It is a nice-looking stock, sturdy and of good quality, and was rather easy to install. The only issue I have with it is that there was still a slight wobble in the stock when installed. this was one of the reasons I purchased it was to get rid of that inherent wobble, and although it helped some there was still a bit of wobble left. I read on the internet of a little trick of putting a strip of electrical tape on the tube which did the job of removing the last bit of wobble. One thing I really enjoy about this particular stock is the larger cheek weld it offers compared to my previous stock, which makes it very comfortable and you swole for shooting. The price was excellent, and I don't know how anybody could ship it any faster than primary arms.

Shipment was quick. Buttstock works great on S&W M&P 10 with scope. Cheek weld is perfect. Buttstock locks down with no wiggle.

Awesome Product - Even Better Service

The stock is simply outstanding. Magpul knows how to make AR accessories. The cheek weld on this stock is excellent, the storage is just the right size, and the increased weight at the butt stock greatly improves the balance of the rifle. If I had to nitpick, it would only be the not-quite-perfect color match to Bravo Company flat dark earth, but the difference is so slight that you don't notice it unless you're really looking for it.Even better was the price and service I received from Primary Arms. They had my part in stock, they shipped it right away (a real irritation with many companies that wait 3 or 4 days to ship), and my parts arrived without any drama. Primary Arms does what it says, does it well, does it quickly, and does it inexpensively. I wish every company were as pleasurable to deal with. I'll be buying more from Primary Arms.

Str stock

It's nice to have the storage, and it has a nice cheek weld, but it is a bit heavier, and more bulky than the ctr.
