Maxim Defense MD:11 Free Float AR-10 Handguard - M-LOK - 15.06"

The Maxim Defense MD:11 Free Float M-LOK Handguard provides designated marksman rifle builders and law enforcement precision shooters with the maximum standard M-LOK coverage available for rifle-format .308 builds on the MD:11 platform. At 16 inches, it delivers full barrel coverage and positions accessories as far forward as the platform allows for a dedicated precision or patrol rifle configuration.

The Maxim Defense MD:11 M-LOK Handguard is a 16-inch free-float aluminum handguard purpose-built for the MD:11 platform, featuring full-length Picatinny top rail coverage, M-LOK compatibility across its surfaces, and a black anodized finish.

At 16 inches, this handguard extends M-LOK coverage to the maximum practical length for .308 rifle configurations, positioning lights, bipods, and supplemental accessories at the furthest forward point where operational benefit is greatest. Free-float construction across the full 16-inch span maintains complete mechanical isolation between the barrel and forces applied through the handguard — critical on .308-class rifles where barrel harmonics over a full 20- or 24-inch barrel length are sensitive to contact-induced variation. The 1.4-inch inner diameter provides consistent barrel clearance across the full length without contact at any point along the barrel.

Precision-fit for the Maxim Defense MD:11 large-frame platform. The 16-inch length accommodates full-length .308 and compatible large-caliber rifle configurations. Outer diameter: 1.7 inches.

Aluminum construction with black anodizing provides thermal durability and surface hardness for the sustained use cycles of a duty or field precision platform at large-caliber round counts.

The correct choice for MD:11 owners building full-length designated marksman rifles, precision patrol platforms, and field rifles requiring maximum M-LOK coverage with free-float barrel performance.

Maxim Defense backs the MD:11 Handguard with their manufacturer warranty, producing platform-specific components that maintain the performance standard built into their complete rifle systems.
