Not what I thought it was

The hand guard is built nice and the finish is very good. My problem is that with it being angled on the edges. The rail is quit a bit larger than the upper receiver and hangs over over the edges. It is just not comfortable as one that matches the receiver.

No sling sockets.

There are no integral QD sling sockets as noted in the description. This is one thing missing that I always like on the MI rails.
It does exactly what it is designed to do.

The purpose of this rail is specifically to tuck a suppressor or blast forwarding device. It’s large enough to stuff almost any can on the market inside and it looks damn clean when it’s put together. Don’t buy it if you have sissy little soy boy hands. This is thick, but it does what it’s meant to do and has tons of MLOK real estate to add any extra Christmas ornaments of pieces of flare you might need to dangle off it including a MLOK QD attachment. I bought a 15” to use with a 10.5” 300BLK barrel and a 6.75” blast forwarding device and eventually a suppressor. The KAW Valley faux can sticks out about 1.5” and looks absolutely t***. Get one!
A handguard for big hands, or tucking those cans.

Im beyond satisfied with the fit and finish, and as another review states, this handguard is wider than the upper receiver. I think it looks pretty good, and is very comfortable to me with a width that feels similar to an A2 handguard. It's a very solid handguard, and I bought it because it is wider than most other options in this range. Due to the width, and space away from the barrel, it seems to dissipate heat very well.
